The Catholic People’s Empire of Markland is the Micronation run by Mark Cardinali. A Catholic and Italian speaking micronation, Markland is seeking to establish itself and eventually go from a micronation into a recognized country. Markland is the goal of Mark Cardinali. Cardinali is also a flag designer, using the internet and photoshop for many of the flags created.
