Introduction
This terms and conditions document is a legally binding document or a set of rules designed to make sure that users of our site do not violate the rules. Mark Cardinali Online’s rules not are respectful of the laws of the Catholic People’s Empire of Markland, but also of Canada’s Criminal Code, US Law, Catholic Canon law European Union standards. The rules to the site apply to Mark Cardinali online itself, as well as the Cardinali Historical Research Centre’s Website, the Giuseppe Cardinali Foundation and possibly the Catholic People’s Empire of Markland site

Definitions
User: A User is anyone who uses this account.
Account: Is an account from a user that has access to different privileges such as the forum.


Use of our site
Users may use the site as long as it remains friendly to both Mark Cardinali, the Roman Catholic Church and to Markland.


Misuses of our site
These are a list of severe offences that our site prohibits and will take action against. These actions include
- Forcing the website to compromise our principles or laws
- Lying about one’s intentions for use of our site
- Bullying or harassing other users
- Making threats of violence
- Committing a criminal act
- Promotion of hatred against anyone based on race, ethnicity, culture, religion etc
- Hacking or making the website unusable or inaccessible


Copyright law
All material owned on the website is owned by Mark Cardinali, the Cardinali family and the Catholic People’s Empire of Markland. Only Mark Cardinali and close family members have exclusive executive administrative access to the site. Cardinali however respects the copyright of users of any material they post on the site. If Cardinali finds any material deemed inappropriate, he is able to use it without consent as evidence in court. All users who violate our copyright policy will be given a maximum of 10 warnings. A warning counter will be placed on everyone who uses the site and violates Mark Cardinali’s intellectual property. 3 warning counters will lead to a suspension, meaning a 1 week ban from using any of the services. A 5 warning counter will lead to a complete ban on the forum. A 10 warning counter means that the user is banned from the site entirety and legal action may be taken. Before going to court however, it is possible for the user to attempt to reach out and come to an agreement. If an agreement is not reached however, Cardinali will take action. Cardinali will also make sure, should action be taken, that the violating user is punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Privacy policy
Mark Cardinali Online is respectful and understanding of our user’s personal data (name, birthday, address, etc.) and we do not take personal data lightly. Mark Cardinali Online follows the European Union’s privacy laws and the US’ Kids Online Safety act and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Therefore, we the website, shall not ask for your birthday or address unless the information is absolutely necessary. Furthermore, users may also ask for their personal information to be destroyed. Finally, Mark Cardinali Online or sites related will not sell your personal information to third-parties. The personal information of our users is not for sale. Stealing personal data will result in legal action.


Termination of accounts
A termination of a user’s account may happen to a user without warning for violating the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy. While Mark Cardinali Online is willing to work with violators to attempt to solve a problem, Mark Cardinali is free to take legal actions if no solution or compromise has been reached. Mark Cardinali is also free to take legal action which may result in the offender receiving penalties such as fines and prison time.
